Bloody Flowers

A while ago commented that my blood splatter looks a lot like cherry blossoms and suggested that I draw something with the two things sort of blending together... so here you go. ^.^ The transition isn't all it should be but this was sort of rushed, I might touch it up later.

I thought it was funny that she said that since one of the things cherry blossoms in Japan symbolize is blood. (In China they symbolize women's dominance and beauty as well as feminine sexuality... So the huge bewbs actually kind of make sense here...) It was just a happy little coincidence that the colors I usually use when I draw her (alternating between pinks and reds I mean) fit the subject so well. Fear her blood spriteyness!!! Or would she be considered more of a fiend...

Aku is my OC and I drew this in Photoshop... Is it just me or is she either grinning stupidly or smirking every time I draw her?
